Background
The Citizen Voices Empowerment Foundation (CVEF) recognizes the urgent need to amplify youth-led civic engagement and advocacy through capacity building and institutional support. As part of our first anniversary celebration, CVEF is launching the Voice to Action Fellowship—a program designed to empower young Nigerians with the skills, knowledge, and resources to engage in impactful civic advocacy and digital activism.
Fellowship
Goal
To build a cohort of young civic actors who can independently drive local advocacy campaigns, promote citizens’ rights, and influence positive governance outcomes through digital and grassroots platforms.
Objectives
Train and mentor a select group of fellows on civic literacy, digital advocacy, and legal protection.Provide a platform for fellows to develop and implement grassroots campaigns.
Support selected fellows with seed funding to execute community-based advocacy initiatives.
Strengthen civic networks through the Citizen Voices Advocacy Network (CVAN).

Each fellow will be eligible to
pitch a civic project and receive ₦250,000 – ₦500,000 in seed funding to
implement an advocacy campaign in their community or online.
